Cosmetic Surgery Packages
Tummy tucks, Lower Body lifts, and liposuction are not new to the cosmetic surgery world. However performing these and other cosmetic procedures on post gastric bypass patients requires a different approach. Body contouring or body reshaping is more difficult after gastric bypass surgery because the skin has usually been permanently damaged by being so extremely stretched. The result is that the gastric bypass patient's skin will loosen with time much faster than a normal patient's. Bariatric patients desiring such reshaping after surgery should use a specialist with experience dealing with this type of situation.
Full body lift $12,999 (prepaid)
A full body lift combines the lower body lift and the upper body lift. The upper
body lift can be combined with a face lift (at additional charge). A Lower and
upper body lift cannot be done at the same time and should be considered in 2 or 3 separate procedures with
4-6 month interval. In general it is better to first
do the lower body lift followed by the upper body lift.
Lower Body Lift $6,900
After significant weight loss there is laxity and redundancy of the abdominal wall soft tissue. There is also laxity and redundancy of the skin and soft tissue of the thighs and buttocks. This sagging of the buttocks, thighs and flanks can distort the contour of the body as well as produce skin irregularities or cellulite. A lower body lift is an extension of a tummy tuck. It removes excess skin and fat and lifts the soft tissues of the thighs and buttocks. Some have referred to this procedure as a “face-lift” for the body. A lower body lift actually rejuvenates the appearance of the body by tightening the supportive soft tissues of the treated areas. It also improves cellulite. A lower body lift is a significant surgery and produces some of the most dramatic improvements in cosmetic surgery. A lower body lift is usually performed alone due to the length and extent of this
one balanced procedure.
Tummy Tuck $4,400
Tummy Tuck is a surgical procedure which smoothes, or flattens, the abdominal area. This is accomplished by removing excess skin and fat from the lower and middle portions of the abdomen and tightening the abdominal muscles. When a significant amount of hanging skin results, this is called a pannis, or apron. Such a pannis can interfere with many of the normal activities of daily living, make exercise difficult and even become a hygiene problem. When an abdominoplasty involves removing a large amount of excess skin, it is referred to as a panniculectomy. It follows the bikini line and is frequently combined with some liposuction.
Thigh Lift $3,900
Surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the inner and outer thigh following the bikini line.
Upper Body Lift $6,900
Surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the arms and breast and lift the breasts. It basically combines a Breast Lift and Arm Lift.
Breast Lift/Reduction $3,900
Breast ptosis, or droopiness, as well as a loss of breast volume (Mastopexy). For women, mastopexy (breast lift surgery) is a procedure to lift the breasts (it could be performed with the addition of breast implants to improve shape, fullness and cleavage at an additional cost). For men, several breast reduction techniques are available (like gynecomastia excision) depending on the degree of correction required.
Arm Lift $3,900
The soft tissues of the upper arm can become redundant following significant weight loss. Once the tissue of the upper arm develops this laxity, the only method to improve it is by removing the redundant skin and fat. This procedure is called a brachioplasty, or arm lift. A brachioplasty is performed by removing skin and soft tissue from the inner aspect of the arm.
Mini Tummy Tuck $3,499
Surgical procedure just to remove excess skin and fat from the front of the abdomen (it follows the bikini line). Most post gastric bypass patients require a full Tummy Tuck.
Liposuction (3 area's) $4,499
Liposuction is a surgical procedure for reduction of specific areas of diet-resistant fat, such as the hips (love handles), outer thighs (saddle bags), abdomen, neck, inner thighs, knees, or arms. Liposuction will not tighten very loose skin.
Face Lift $5,499
Post gastric bypass patients might experience sagging of the facial skin.and might require a Face Lift (Rhytidectomy), the removal of excess skin, tightening of the underlying facial and neck muscles, and redraping of the facial skin are performed with minimal incision techniques. Forehead lifting and Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) may also be necessary to achieve complete facial rejuvenation.
Where possible prices are as quoted, however exceptionally additional costs may
be added due to an extra duration of stay in the hospital or other unforeseen
factors. This will usually be indicated by special factors and preconditions
enabling us to forewarn you of any likelihood of this occurring. If you have any
doubt please speak to one of our patient coordinators. Please see our Terms &
Conditions.
